We've been here twice so far and we'd definitely return. It's family owned and the staff is very friendly. The food is excellent; my wife loves the steak. I had the Butternut Squash, Shrimp, and Cous Cous salad and it was fantastic. They have these shoestring sweet potatoes that are awesome. Highly recommend!

What a gem?! I've driven past thousands of times and always wondered.... Finally, I know. This is an amazing off the beaten path experience. The risotto was cooked like that of a television show, salmon was impeccable and the perch (not always available) was divine.

I went here for the first time last month and was really glad I did! The food was great; everything was delicious and well made. I especially liked the French onion soup, which had a unique and unexpected twist with the addition of a matzo ball. Definitely the first time I’ve seen that. The main course (sturgeon) was excellent and the sides were just as good. All in all, I give them 5 stars for an excellent meal, great service, and reasonable pricing. Great bang for your buck!

What a gem! If you're in the area a MUST try, if you're not in an area, you must come and visit. I love French food, and this place seriously gives it another edge! Always curious what's to come next and seasonal flavors. Make time to venture out for this delicious meal, wine pairing, excellent service, and atmosphere.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is calm and the service is quick and attentive . We arrived at 5:10 for an early dinner. The seasoned rolls were hot and yummy served with real butter. We ordered the watermelon and burrata appetizer - perfect for 2 people. The beef stroganoff was rich and delicious- they did not skimp on the beef or fresh mushrooms. The bolognese was traditional, unlike heavy tomato sauces. We had the creme brulee too - it is a generous serving!

This is a gem of a place! This is my first visit, on the recommendation of my parents who have been here before. The scallops, calamari and escargot appetizers are exquisite. The beef stroganoff and perch are top notch. Quiet atmosphere and not too big of a establishment, which is nice and quaint. You need to try this place!

What a gem we found! I agree with other reviews that this place does not offer fancy decor, but that’s a plus in my book. This is a place if you don’t want to dress up yet want to eat something good. We arrived around 545, but I could see it quickly getting busy. The guest population seemed a bit mature (50ish and up), and I loved it as there was no loud music or rowdy party crowd; you could enjoy conversation and good food. We started with fried smelts, escargots, and burrata/tomato salad. If you are to order escargots, order an extra bread basket with it to soak up its sauce! Burrata/tomato was good, but there was nothing special about it. My kids surprisingly loved deep-fried smelts. For our entrees, we tried their lamb chops, duck breast, scallops, and salmon. Duck was our least favorite, but it was still good. We tried their creme brulee, basque cheesecake, and pecan chocolate cake for dessert. They were all very good. I almost don’t wanna leave good reviews and keep it to ourselves. And to the reviewer who complained that they closed around 830 while the sign said they’d open till 9, maybe you should have considered possibilities like they sold out their items for a day or they were super slow for a night or maybe nobody really want to work that late serving entitled folks like yourself believing you should be welcomed for going into any restaurant 30 min before closing.

From the moment we walked in, everything was just right. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. Ellen made sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience even better. We started with drinks, and they were absolutely perfect—fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Then came the meal, and every bite was incredible. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were expertly combined. The presentation was beautiful too! Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived. It was rich, decadent, and the perfect way to end the meal. From the drinks to the food to the service, everything was spot on. This restaurant is a must-visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
